A Team~Crusaders

 Our team, 5509A, the VHS Crusaders, is from Combined Locks, Wisconsin. Our team consists of five teammates. Team members are: Cole, the Leader in hardware; Nathan, who works on the hardware and software committee; Eric, who works on the hardware committee; Dalton, who also works on the hardware committee; and Nathaniel who is the leader of software. Our team members and their families belong to a Christian home school group called the Valley Home Schoolers (VHS). Our team is coached by Dean and Karen Sandvig. The VHS Robotic Coordinator is Adam Vetter. 5509A strives to maintain a high level of competitiveness in VEX robotics while showing kindness and respect to our opponents.

Our team has enjoyed performing various community service projects over the years. So far this year we have helped host a harvest party for VHS, co-host the VEX IQ tournament in Winneconne WI, and volunteered at Walk for Wishes. We are planning on helping at multiple VEX and VEX IQ competitions, and at Help for the Homeless.
